Don’t have a library card? Sign up for a free online borrower card today to access the Library’s databases and downloadable resources. If you’re a Floyd County resident, you can come to the Library to have this card replaced with a free library card to access all of our materials.

Spring Into Reading Challenge

Join the Library’s fall reading program called “Living Beyond The Lines” from October 1st through October 31st!

Live “beyond the lines” and try a variety of platforms and experiences available through the Floyd County Library. Explore outside of genres you would normally select to stretch your cultural experience. Our reading challenge is designed to expand our minds and the ideas of the world we live in.

Use our Beanstack site or app to log your reading progress and earn a prize! In addition to reading, you can log listening to music or watching a documentary or movie from our physical collection or Hoopla, our digital platform. Digital magazines are also available on our Flipster app.

If you are watching a film or listening to music, log your minutes as you would a book, and for “title” enter the album or film title, and for “author” enter the artist or director.

Log 3 hours of reading, watching, or listening to receive an inspirational wristband in the mail. Please be sure to complete the Mailing Address Activity in Beanstack so we can send your completion prize to you in the mail!
